ok, so i am gunna try to ask here...please for those of you that do not know me don't think that i am just some dumb chic that don't know chit about vehicles..i do all my own work on mine and friends

problem...

cat heat shield has been becoming loose..no problem..not needed..today flange broke completely loose and sounds like an old rotary phone ringing.....annoying...need to get it off, and was wondering an easy way to do it..i know sawsall it off would be best, but don't have access to one right now..thanks for the help

If you ain't got a saw all you can do is try and work it until it breaks free. I can't see this obviously so I can only guess at what you are talking about.

If it's really flimsy material then you may be able to just keep working it back and forth until it cracks and breaks free.

id try yanking on it. you dont have tin snips do ya?

i don't have a tin snips..i will try pulling on it..its so rusty so maybe it will give..2 damn cats on my daily driver...when they go...straight pipe it
